We all hoped for a return to full capacity, but in order to maintain compliance with Shawnee County and the State of Kansas guidance related to meetings within state-owned properties and public areas, we must limit physical attendance at these meetings to primarily board members, agency staff, and those with scheduled business before the Board. Members of the public are encouraged to attend virtually as capacity is extremely limited. The Board strongly believes that transparency and open government are paramount and holds firm upon the importance of the public to have an ability to observe and comment upon the Board proceedings and to provide comment and insight upon items appearing on the agendas. Refer to each meeting agenda for direction to submit any comments.
