* May train new Security Officers and/or Security Officer EMT’s as necessary
* Resolves service problems including difficult situations according to guidelines
* Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly working environment
* Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
* Additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* High School graduate or equivalent
* Current EMT license or above issued by State of Kansas
* Basic mathematic proficiency
* General knowledge of basic computer skills
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, bi-lingual a plus
* Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team

Coffey County EMS, a division of Coffey Health System, is accepting applications for the position of full-time Paramedic. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team. CCEMS is a progressive, hospital based, Type 1 service that runs approximately 1600 calls per year out of 1 station. We have no on call policy or living restrictions. CCEMS works 48/96 schedule.

The qualified applicant must have good communication skills and work well with a variety of health care professionals. The qualified applicant will be paired with an AEMT and should be comfortable with liberal protocols. The qualified applicant shall also have a valid driver’s license, and current certification as a Paramedic or be able to obtain it. Current EMT’s or AEMT’s nearing the end of a Paramedic program may be considered.
