02/13/2023 | Mitchell County EMS | Full and Part-time Paramedics/A-EMT/EMT We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team. We are a progressive service providing ALS care out of two stations staffing 2 ALS units. We offer competitive wages. Starting wage for a Paramedic is $17.00, A-EMT $15.25 and EMT 14.00 per hour. Part-time will work Wednesdays with opportunities to fill in for vacation and sick time. Full-time will work two 24-hour rotating shifts a week with guaranteed 8 hours of overtime. We do offer a full benefit package to all full-time employees. We would prefer candidates live in a surrounding county; however, this is negotiable. We operate under liberal protocols. Position Summary: The individual we are seeking will provide patient care within their scope of practice. The employee will participate in the care and maintenance of facilities, equipment and ambulances. You must be able to work independently, multi-task and maintain a high level of patient care and re-pour with patients. |

02/01/2023 | Marquette Ambulance Service | Part-time Assistant Director Marquette Ambulance Service is seeking a part-time EMT or higher-level provider to fill the Assistant Director position. Marquette Ambulance Service is a rural ALS provider in McPherson County with a service area of approximately 276 square miles and a call volume of 190 calls per year. The department has protocols for EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics providing care to patients in a rural setting. Critical thinking skills are essential in caring for patients with the potential for prolonged transport times. This position is paid per hour, which will involve approximately 60-80 hours per month and compensation for call time and run pay. Responsibilities of this position are under the direction of the EMS Director, including but not limited to: Qualified applicants must possess a current Kansas EMT certification at a minimum, a valid Kansas driver’s license, and live within five (5) minutes of the station. Compensation is commensurate with experience and education. |

01/20/2023 | Wellington Fire & EMS | Paramedic, Firefighter/Paramedic or Firefighter/EMT The Wellington Fire & EMS Department is accepting applications for Paramedic, Firefighter/Paramedic or Firefighter/EMT. Applicants may be currently enrolled in a paramedic class. Applicants must be currently certified as an Emergency Medical Technician. Paramedic only positions will be required to obtain Firefighter I certification after one year. Applicants must attend a physical ability test or a current CPAT will be accepted for Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic positions. Interviews and physical ability test will be scheduled shortly after the application deadline. Firefighter/EMT applicants will be required to attend paramedic class 1 year after hire. A paramedic scholarship from the department is available. Starting annual salary for a Paramedic is $42,940, Firefighter/Paramedic is $43,622 and for Firefighter/EMT is $37,932 this does not include FLSA overtime or holiday time. Average FLSA overtime is $8500. Salary step increase after 6 months and 1 year. Wellington Fire & EMS employs 18 full time personnel, 5 part time and 2 administrative staff. The department responds on an average to 2600 EMS calls and 1600 fire calls annually. Staff work 24 hour shifts and must reside within 20 miles of the fire station within 6 months. The City of Wellington offers KP& F retirement, 10 paid holidays, vacation, Christmas savings plan, sick time incentive, health insurance and opportunities for overtime |

Stafford County Emergency Services serves a rural population of approximately 4,208 people throughout a 792 square mile service area with a call volume of 400 calls per year. The department works under protocols designed to provide care to patients in a rural setting. With prolonged transport times and bypass protocols, our EMS personnel must have strong critical thinking skills and be comfortable caring for patients for long periods of time. Qualified applicants should possess a Kansas EMT certification at a minimum, current CPR certification, and valid Kansas drivers license. Salary is commensurate with experience and education. Stafford County offers an excellent fringe benefit package. All candidates must undergo a background check and pre-employment physical capacity profile test to be considered for employment.
