Riley County EMS is accepting applications for a Full Time Paramedic and several newly added PRN positions open to any certification. Our Full Time Paramedics earn an initial salary of $52,183.04/year with opportunities for annual performance based raises. Employees are eligible for KP&F retirement benefits, Health Insurance, Holiday Pay at 2.5 times their base rate, and Event Bonus Pay consisting of an additional $8/hr for staffing most events including Big 12 Athletics. We work a traditional Berkeley shift with no residency requirements. We employ a Full Time Director, Asst. Director, and Clinical Operations Officer. We operate four ALS staffed units and a support vehicle out of three stations, two of which are shared with Manhattan Fire Department. We respond to approximately 4800 calls for service annually, provide routine training/education on duty, and offer a wide variety of community outreach opportunities through our active PR Committee. Jefferson County Ambulance Service is now accepting applications for a full-time paramedic. Jefferson County EMS is the primary 911 provider for all of Jefferson County, KS. Qualified applicants should display excellent written and verbal communications skills, be highly motivated, work well under pressure, be comfortable with extended with patient management, confident in decision-making, and highly functional with progressive Standing Orders. Republic County EMS is accepting applications for a full time and/or part time Paramedic/AEMT/EMT. Republic County EMS is a type 1 service located in the City of Belleville providing service to the entire Republic County.

Applicants must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, Kansas EMT/AEMT/Paramedic certification, and current CPR.
Additional qualifications that will be considered are AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, as well as Kansas I/C.

Republic County EMS operates on 12 or 24 hour shifts with full time positions working 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next with overtime paid after 40 hours. Full time positions offer a full benefits package. Full time positions must reside within a 30 minute response time within 6 months of employment. Part-time positions benefit from flexible scheduling.

Trego County EMS is currently accepting applications for a full-time EMT. Career staff work a 48/96 rotating schedule with additional call back time. Benefits include Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas medical and dental insurance, life insurance, KPERS, holiday pay, paid vacation and sick leave. Entry level pay is approximately $38,000 per year with duty and call back pay. Candidate must be a certified Kansas EMT or have the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. 05/16/2018 Pottawatomie County EMS Paramedic/AEMT/EMT
Pottawatomie County EMS is expanding its coverage area and will be adding 58 square miles of coverage area which will encompass all of the county including areas inside the city limits of Manhattan. We will be expecting an annual call volume over 2,000 calls a year and operating out of 5 separate stations. This action will include new personnel (six full time positions). We are looking for Paramedic’s, AEMT, and EMT’s to join our team! We also are always looking for part time staff!

These position(s) work a 48/96 rotation. Enjoy the opportunity to work 48 hours followed by 96 hours off – then the shift repeats. Pottawatomie County does NOT have a residency requirement for EMS personnel. Pottawatomie County EMS currently has 4 stations and will be opening a 5th station, located throughout the county. PCEMS provides 911 and non-emergent response and transports. We have also have taken delivery of a new Type 1 Ambulance and will have the delivery of 2 type II units in May.
