Q: I would like to become an EMS Provider. How do I receive EMS Certification in Kansas?
\n<\/strong>A: Complete the Process for Initial Certification<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: How do I become Kansas certified if I hold an EMS Provider Certification from another state?<\/strong>
\nA: New applicants for EMS credentials in the State of Kansas will be required to undergo criminal history records checks prior to gaining certification. This will entail the completion of a waiver and submission of fingerprints taken at an authorized location. Visit our new licensing portal<\/a> and click on CREATE ACCOUNT. Once you have completed all of the required demographic information, click on Applications on the left hand side, then click on “View my Applications”. Find “Criminal History Records Check Waiver Application” and click “Apply Now” and complete the application. Upon payment of the required $50 fee, you will receive an email with documentation to complete the required process. After submission of the required waiver, complete the “Recognition of Non-Kansas Credentials” application. <\/p>\n
