Applying for Single Program Continuing Education

July 23, 2009

If your service or organization does not hold Long-term Program Provider status, Single Program Provider is the mechanism by which you can obtain approval to conduct continuing education.

Single Program Continuing Education Request for Approval forms must be completed and submitted by a Kansas certified Instructor-coordinator.

K.A.R. 109-5-6 states that applications must be received in the Board office a minimum of 30 days prior to the course offering.

Each course must be submitted separately. Courses that will be repeated identically can be submitted on one (1) form with multiple dates identified for the offerings.

K.A.R. 109-5-6 states that applications must include a schedule for the course and an evaluation tool to be used to determine if the course met the needs of those in attendance.

Applications are processed within four (4) business days of receipt in our office, on a first come – first serve basis, except during high volume times.
